The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is a 2006 novel about Germans and the Holocaust, from the point of view of a young boy, written by Irish novelist John Boyne. Unlike the months of planning Boyne devoted to his other books, he said that he wrote the entire first draft of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas in two and a half days, barely sleeping until he got to the end. To date, the novel has sold more than 5 million copies around the world, and was published as The Boy in the Striped Pajamas in the United States. In both 2007 and 2008 it was the best selling book of the year in Spain. It has also reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list, as well as in the UK, Ireland, Australia and many other countries.
i know i've neglected to update the website recently so now it's high time to make up for it..
the unusual is to come true on thursday and Ola's to walk in my shoes and host our meeting to present ‘the boy in the striped pyjamas'.. for a change, i'm going to be in the audience and for the first time in the not so long CCC's history i'm going to see a feature i haven't seen so far.. a kind of cinema outing for me.. quite unusual in bytów..
after easter i'm planning to introduce you to some films from the far east as they're to do with my next trip.. need to think it over.. promise to write more before easter..
east-easter-west-western;)
i saw Edyta today who missed out on ‘baraka' two weeks ago.. what's your opinion on having a cinematic marathon and watching it again alongside another movie? would you like to see it again? to my mind, it's so hypnotic and mesmerising a film that it should be experienced more than once.. please write what you think about it..
till thursday
;)
All this shit has disappeared from our guestbook. Unfortunately, it's not so difficult to broke the captcha code, but don't worry, our guestbook will be clean from now.
The strange thing is that I've made the captcha code when our website started, but I don't know why I had hidden it... Sometimes I don't understand even myself ;)

here's a thing about english people.. when two poms meet, they talk about the weather.. to maintain their conversation, they move on to discuss football and, needless to say, it has to be discussed thoroughly...
I know that you can find some shit in guestbook. It's robot's work (simply called 'spam') and I've got do some kind of protection. So don't worry, it'll disappear soon and never happen again.

due to the fact that Ola can't come round tomorrow i've decided to change the repertoire - let it be a surprise:) even if you think it's too difficult for you to watch films in original English versions honour us with your presence as i promise you won't have problems to understand what's going on in the feature that's to be shown tomorrow.. when it comes to 'the boy in the striped pyjamas' expect it in the near future..
