in 2009, to commemorate the day in question, we watched ‘u-turn’ and i remember that some of you weren't ready for the irony and form of the film directed by oliver stone(d)..

nevertheless, i still think it’s a good one that’s definitely worth watching as it shows the school of hard knocks..

a year ago, the screening of ‘the wall’ took place.. this one has more to do with ‘school’ as institution at least due to the immortal ‘another brick in the wall’ that appears in it..

and this year i’m planning on accustoming you to ‘apt pupil’, which is memorable not only because of ian mckellan’s excellent acting, but also the plot.. changing views and opinions is pretty much natural, but converting to and following disgraceful ideas seems to be something over the top.. however, let the one who hasn’t taken advantage of others to pursue their personal goals cast the first stone or remain silent till the kingdom of heaven comes about...
